Allergy Shots

If you have severe allergies that can’t be controlled through medication or avoidance, we may refer you to a trusted partner for allergy shots.

Each shot will have a small amount of your trigger. After getting the shot, you’ll stay in our office to monitor your reaction. In the beginning, you’ll need shots more frequently, but over the course of several months to a year, we’ll decrease the time between shots.

Some patients see improvement within a few months, and some patients can see symptoms go away altogether. 

If you are preparing for allergy shots, avoid exercise before or after treatment and let us know if you’re on any medications.
